The Central Kiloparsec in Galactic Nuclei

Astronomy at High Angular Resolution 2011

This year speakers at AHAR2011 are strongly invited to contribute a paper to the conference proceedings, which will appear in the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), published by IOP Publishing.

Publications licence for open access proceedings papers:

For papers published in open access proceedings titles IOP Publishing no longer requires authors to sign and submit copyright forms. Please note that regular journals of IOP Publishing are unaffected by this change. For open access proceedings titles (including JPCS) copyright transfer forms are being replaced by a publishing licence under which authors retain their copyright and no longer need to sign and submit any forms. Any author who wishes to publish in one of these titles must agree to the terms of the licence and by submitting a paper for publication in one of these titles it is assumed all authors of the paper agree, in full, to the terms of the licence. The licence terms and conditions are available online.

Preparing your paper:

The next step is to prepare a PDF version of your paper.

Authors are advised to prepare their papers using the JPCS Microsoft Word or LaTeX2e templates and then convert the finished paper into PDF format for submission. Full guidelines and templates can be downloaded from the JPCS Guidelines for Authors web page.

If you wish to use non-JPCS templates please ensure your PDF meets the essential requirements listed below since all papers must conform to some basic core requirements for publication in JPCS:

Full details of these core requirements are available online

The page limit for submitted papers are: Talks 8 pages, Posters 6 pages. 1-page poster papers can not be accepted by the puplisher.

Submitting your paper:

Prior to submitting, please check that your paper complies with all standards described above.

Finally, submit your paper (the .tex or .doc-files, all figures and multimedia files and the PDF) as a gzipped tar-archive via email to the AHAR2011 team by 1/15/2012. Be aware that our mailserver allows a maximum email size of 40 MByte !!
