My research is centered on
- Formation of Massive Stars
- Astrochemistry
- Formation of Molecular Clouds
particularly on the modeling of observing data. I am Project leader of Projects A6 and C3 in the new SFB 956, co-I of Herschel/HIFI and have been involved there in the GT KPs HEXOS and CHESS. From 1997 to 2010 I have been member of various ALMA committees, among the Science Software Requirements, ESAC and ASAC and various review committees. Of particular interest in the next couple of years will be using the following instruments/projects
