Accomodation

• The conference will be held in the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof (location map by Zermatt Tourism). Hotel rates are SFr 195 (about 120 US$) per person per day. This includes a copious breakfast buffet and a 4 course dinner. For the exchange of ideas, it is preferable that most participants stay within the same hotel, and the organizing committee suggests that most of you take advantage of the offer made by the Zermatterhof.
  We will require non refundable first night Hotel deposit of 150 US$; the entire deposit will be applied to the first night room charge.

• As alternatives to the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof we can suggest Hotel Alpina and Hotel Tannenhof, which are located next to the Zermatterhof. Hotel rates are SFr 82 resp. SFr 75 (about 50 US$ resp. 46 US$) including a breakfast buffet. The price for the dinner is not included.

• Participants can register at the hotel of their choice from December 15 on (some hotels may not be open before this date). The deadline for hotel reservation is March 1, 2001.
• Participants should expect to arrive at the hotel Sunday July 8, 2001 and depart July 13, 2001.
