On the Detection of Protonated Cyanogen, NCCNH+, in Space

The J = 10 – 9 and 5 – 4 transitions near 88.8 and 44.4 GHz were detected in emission toward the dark clouds TMC-1 (cyanopolyyne peak) and L483. The former transition was observed with the IRAM 30 m telescope, the latter with the Yebes 40 m telescope.
